by Sixtime

1.1 Introduction to Oyabun Send
Oyabun Send is the application that you use to send comands to other Macs. Just doubleclick its icon, choose the event, fill in the address, login and password and push the Send button. As easy as it sounds, thats about how hard it gets!

1.2 The Interface
Oyabun Send has an easy to understand and easy to use interface. Oyabun Send has saved on its controls, but not its performance.

Here is a quick explanation of its user interactive controls:

The popupmenu
Use this menu to choose which event to send.

The Address field
Type in the address to the Mac you want to connect to. (Network address. Ex. IP Address.)

The Login field

The Send button

The ask Login or Password windows
You are not required to enter a login or password to connect, but if Oyabun Server asks for it and you have not typed it in, there will show a window that will ask you for it.

1.3 How to use Oyabun Send
Using the Oyabun Send application is extremely easy. Just select your event and fill out the fields and you are ready to go. The applicaton will show a dialog box when the connection is completed, and tell you how it went. And what was wrong if it didnt succeed.

1.4 Security Notes
When talking servers or the ability to control a machine over the public internet, security is always importent. Thats why Oyabun Tools uses the simplest way to comunicate. The risk of hacking into Oyabun Server without having the password is equal to zero.

However there is one thing that you should keep in mind when using Oyabun Tools. The data sendt between the applications/macs is sendt as is, and is NOT cryptated. If you are running a server you should consider to change the passwords each time you use the send app to lower the risk for anyone to steal and missuse the password. Anyway, for anyone to do so they would have to monitor your network activity at the time the connection is up.
